NEWS AND EVENTS AT VIRGINIA WESLEYAN COLLEGE  //  JULY 8, 2016
Welcome Aboard, Class of 2020!
Approximately 350 new Marlins arrived with a splash June 24 and 27, as the 91直播 Wesleyan College Class of 2020 set sail on their VWC journey with a nautical-themed New Student Orientation (NSO). 91直播 College anticipates welcoming nearly 500 new students when classes begin in August.

Following a welcome from VWC President Scott D. Miller, new students and their families were encouraged to create their own orientation journey by choosing which information sessions and special "destinations" they'd like to visit. Students also met with advisors to build their fall class schedules. A Marlin Celebration capped off the day with music and dancing, sand volleyball, raffle prizes, snow cones, and a dunk tank that drenched Dean of Freshmen Jason Seward '05.

91直播Class of 2020 will return to campus Aug. 24 for Marlin Days.

Thank You For
Giving Back

Thank you to 91直播 Wesleyan's community of alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends who contributed to 91直播Excellence Fund during the 2015-2016 fiscal year. Your gifts have provided VWC students with opportunities that will shape their lives forever.

As Peace Corps Director and 2016 Commencement Speaker Carrie Hessler-Radelet advised, "Believe in what [the world] can become." Your support of 91直播Excellence Fund has actualized this belief for 91直播 Wesleyan students by creating annual scholarships, new research projects, unique academic programs, study away experiences, and internship opportunities. These benefits contribute to the success of our students as well as the College's excellent academic reputation.

If you missed the opportunity to contribute, it's never too late to begin giving back to 91直播 Wesleyan. Learn more about , make a gift, and be counted! #VWCBeCounted
